The suits are altered by qualified machinists to provide a perfect fit. Whatever the occasion, be it wedding, ball or black tie, the team at Thomson’s will have you looking your sharpest.
We recommend having your order finalised 4-6 weeks before your event. This stretches out 2 months during the wedding season (October-March) to ensure you get your first choice avoid disappointment We can arrange last minute hires if necessary but it remains in your best interest to book as early as possible.
We require measurements from each wearer to confirm a booking. We strongly recommend either visiting us in store or another reputable menswear retailer to have your measurements taken professionally. This ensures best fit and less stress in the days leading up to your event.
In the situation where a hirer is unable to have his measurements taken professionally, we do provide a self-measurement form.
We do not require a bond or deposit. We just ask that payment is made at any point before the garments are collected.
We generally receive hire suits in-store by Thursday afternoon. This gives us a window of time to make any minor alterations that may be required. It is important that the garments are tried on before-hand to ensure best fit.
The garments are expected back in store the next working day for a weekday hire and the following Monday for weekend hire. Any late returns will incur a fee of $40.00 per day that they are late.
No. To ensure hygiene and a smart appearance all garments are professionally cleaned after each hire.
