AW26 defines the very DNA of Liberty, where design, nature and art intertwine.
The collection illustrates the cycle of the seasons, exploring the profound connection between creativity and the cultivated world.
We are taken on a journey through the history of gardens and verdant spaces, from idyls, to classical, formal and serene gardens. These designs are a study of structure and form, colour and pattern.
We explore artists who created their own landscapes from which they were inspired. We celebrate the beautiful relationship between nature and creativity.
Daphne Thomas
Based on a 1970s artwork found in the Liberty Archive, Daphne Thomas is a textural design with subtle abstracted paisley motifs.
Orchard Fresco
The beauty of this artwork lies in its rich texture, reminiscent of ancient Roman frescoes. This scenic landscape reveals a sunlit orchard where orange and lemon trees thrive among blossoming flowers. Orchard Fresco was created with layered, crumpled, and collaged tissue paper, mirroring the softly weathered surfaces and powdery hues of Pompeii’s masterpieces.
Petal & Daisy
Our iconic classic design Poppy & Daisy has undergone a striking transformation Steeped in Liberty’s nostalgic charm, this beloved 1910s botanical is now reimagined with richly hued, dark backgrounds. This fresh perspective introduces a bold, contemporary edge while staying true to its timeless heritage.
Marquess Belle
Marquess Belle is a harmonious fusion of two cherished prints from the Liberty archive. Shifting between detailed linework and bold, overlapping silhouettes, the composition unveils layers of sharp contrasts and dramatic, large-scale shadows.
